Report: Cincinnati Assistant Coach Wes FlemingTakes Promotion With Central Michigan

 The Bearcats had an assistant coach take a promotion in the MAC to start the offseason. Football Scoop's Doug Samuels reported assistant defensive backs coach Wes Fleming is taking the Central Michigan DBs coaching role.

Fleming came to Cincinnati in 2023 after stints at Nebraska, Army, Midland and Kansas Wesleyan.

He spent a season as a defensive quality control coach at Army in 2021, helping the Black Knights to a nine-win season with an Armed Forces Bowl victory over Missouri to cap it off.
