Parma have reportedly struck a deal for Westerlo striker Matija Frigan, who had been on the verge of joining Hull City.
Both Sky Sport Italia and reports from Croatia insist that an agreement has been found and he will fly in for his medical over the next 24 hours.
He had been very close to joining Hull City, but those negotiations stalled, and it is suggested the deal will be worth approximately €10m.
The 22-year-old is a centre-forward and can also play on the right flank.
A product of the HNK Rijeka youth academy, Frigan was sold to Belgian club Westerlo for €5.5m in the summer of 2023.
He found the net 14 times along with four assists provided for his teammates in 41 competitive games for Westerlo last season.
Called up to the senior Croatia squad, but yet to receive his debut, the striker has two goals and one assist in 15 caps for the Under-21 team.
Parma sold Ange-Yoan Bonny to Inter and Dennis Man to PSV Eindhoven this summer.
