Former Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen has been sending mixed messages the past few days. And it looks like he’s going to end up leaving Tampa Bay and joining the Jacksonville Jaguars, after reversing course on Thursday night. Jacksonville would simply not take no for an answer with Coen. Plenty of people in the national media have been pounding the table for the Cowboys to pull the same courtship with Deion Sanders . On Thursday evening, Robert Griffin III suggested Dallas should do whatever it takes to land the Colorado head coach as the head honcho of the Cowboys.

Sanders has led the Colorado Buffaloes to one of the bigger turnarounds in college football, playing an instrumental role in guiding the Buffs to a 9-4 overall record in the 2024-2025 campaign. In 2023, they had a 4-8 overall record. But Sanders’ name has been a hot commodity in NFL coaching circles this offseason, and there’s been plenty of chatter about Jerry Jones flirting with Sanders as a candidate for the head coaching job for the Cowboys.
