Scouting report for Seattle Seahawks' sixth-round pick Bryce Cabeldue

The Seattle Seahawks have added more offensive line help in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft, selecting Kansas swing tackle Bryce Cabeldue with the 192nd overall pick.

Cabeldue played both right tackle and left tackle at Kansas, although some project him to move inside due his elite short-area quickness. The Seahawks already selected North Dakota State offensive lineman Grey Zabel in the first round and now they add another versatile piece up front.

NFL.com draft expert Lance Zierlein praised Cabeldue's toughness in his 2025 scouting profile.

"Collegiate right tackle who is built like a guard and should make the move inside as a pro," wrote Zierlein. "Cabeldue is not much of a knee-bender but he’s low-cut, which helps him maximize his balance. He has good pop on contact and can maul his way to wins"

The Seahawks can take their time developing Cabeldue, but ultimately he projects as a versatile backup interior lineman at the NFL level. Zierlein also praised his Cabeldue's athleticism:

"He’s more athletic than expected inside the box, but his range as a blocker will trail off. He plays with an attacking mindset and takes the action to opponents, but he needs to play with inside hands to minimize his lack of length in pass pro. He projects as a backup guard and his toughness plays in his favor."

The Seahawks have focused on upgrading their offensive and defensive lines through the first six rounds of the 2025 NFL draft. The team has added a defensive lineman, tight end and a wide receiver thus far on Day 3.
