Seth Rollins Compares Saquon Barkley to former WWE Champion

Seth Rollins can do more than put on five-star classics in the squared circle. The 38-year-old is a man of many trades, including various side hustles such as acting and owning his own coffee shop. Rollins' latest quest has been becoming an NFL analyst.

Rollins is a diehard Chicago Bears fan, frequently posting his continuous heartbreak around the team on his social media platforms. Fellow Bears supporter and massive wrestling fan Kyle Brandt took notice and helped orchestrate making Rollins a temporary host of Good Morning Football. During a recent episode of the show, Rollins compared Philadelphia Eagles superstar Saquon Barkley to a former WWE champion.

Rather than be self-indulgent, Rollins saw similarities between the Offensive Player of the Year and a current main eventer. "I'm going to take Barkley, who had an out-of-this-world year—everyone wanted it and hoped for it and believed in him because he's a good guy," Rollins said. "He's a hard worker, and he made it all the way to the Super Bowl and won the ring. I'll compare him to my colleague, my man, Jey Uso. Jey's had an incredible year, one where you might've thought he'd never had a year like this."

Regardless of his in-ring quality, Jey Uso is massively over. Right now, he has the most recognizable catchphrase in the company and captivates an audience's attention with his swagger and charisma.

For this to be a perfect juxtaposition, Uso will have to defeat Gunther to win the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania—a result that seems like a foregone conclusion in favor of the number-one contender.
