New Yorkers, prepare yourselves because Squid Game: The Experience is heading to the city this fall following the success of Squid Game: The Trials, which took place in Los Angeles last year.
What is it? Well, opening on October 11 at Manhattan Mall, Squid Game: The Experience immerses fans into the world of Netflix's hit series, inviting them to have their turn at some of the most popular challenges from the show.
Players can compete in groups of up to 24, and get the opportunity to test their skills against games such as the iconic Red Light Green Light, accumulating points during the escalating challenges, each featuring cutting-edge technology. In the end, a winner is declared.
Following the games, players are invited to the Night Market, which offers a wide array of Korean and international sweet and savory food items along with beverages.
Players are then able to take a trip to Squid Mart, which features exclusive collectables, apparel, games and unique photo opportunities.
The Emmy award-winning series hit millions of homes across the globe when it hit Netflix in 2021. Now, fans get a chance to experience it all themselves.
Squid Game season two heads to Netflix this December, and the first details teased that "there are so many twists and turns", one of which is previewed in a new teaser which shows a familiar face returning.
