Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Stephen Curry welcomed one of the WNBA’s top stars to an exclusive group.
Curry, 37, posted multiple videos and pictures to his Instagram account on Tuesday to welcome Las Vegas Aces All-Star center A'ja Wilson to the Chase family alongside comedian and actor Kevin Hart.
“Always a time with @kevinhart4real and officially welcome @aja22wilson to the fam,” he wrote in the caption. “They’re cool and all, but there’s only one C.O.A.T. .”
The trio filmed a new advertisement for Chase Bank, where they debated who the Greatest Cashbacker of All Time is as they played a game of pickup basketball. “I earned 3 % on barbecue, too,” Curry said to Hart. “I ain’t the only thing getting smoked.”
The trio also filmed a hilarious interview in which they discussed how they met. “Don’t you even try putting yourself in my world,” Curry said to Hart, who joked that he met Curry when they competed at a basketball camp.
“Were you the waterboy? Were you the camp kid?” Wilson responded. As the jokes continued, they also took a photo alongside their stunt doubles, who looked identical to them.
Furthermore, Chase decided to partner with Wilson as she has begun starting up new partnerships such as releasing her signature “A’One” sneakers with Nike on May 5. The sneakers impressed fans as they sold out in less than five minutes of being released online.
Wilson has also become one of the WNBA’s most successful athletes as a high-level performer. She is a two-time regular season MVP (2020 and 2022), two-time champion (2022 and 2023) and two-time Defensive Player of the Year (2022 and 2023).
