Taylor Swift Gets Candid on Dating Boyfriend Travis Kelce

Since she started boyfriend Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift instantly became the most famous Kansas City Chiefs fan on the planet. Yet, Swift's first Chiefs game back on Sept. 24, 2023, was well after the couple started dating.

Swift has become a regular at Chefs matchups, but frequently attending football games is a relatively new concept for the music icon.

“Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift told Time's Sam Lansky during a Dec. 6, 2023, interview. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”

As for the start of the Kelce-Swift romance, the singer revealed that their relationship remained private long before her first public appearance in Kansas City. Swift opened up about the start of their relationship during the 2023 feature for Time.

“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift said at the time. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.

"By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

Now, the Chiefs are one win away from another trip to the Super Bowl. Swift is not the only one rooting for Kansas City to top the Buffalo Bills in the AFC championship. Fox Sports' Rob Stone hinted that his network also has a rooting interest in the Chiefs advancing given Swift's star power.

"You know who they [Fox] want in the Super Bowl?" Stone pondered on Wednesday's edition of "The Triple Option" podcast. "They're not going to tell you, but you know who they want in the Super Bowl? They want Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl, brother."

"That's who they want. They want Travis Kelce's girlfriend at the Super Bowl, man. That's just going to help the ratings and help those numbers."
