The Tennessee Vols could be adding a highly rated recruit to their 2026 recruiting class in the not-so-distant future.

According to 247Sports' Tom Loy, the Volunteers are in "the best spot" for 2026 four-star offensive lineman Leo Delaney.

Delaney, 6-foot-6/280 lbs from Charlotte, NC (Providence Day), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 5 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 8 player in the state of North Carolina. He's also rated as the No. 63 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The Charlotte native was teammates last fall at Providence Day with Vols true freshman offensive lineman David Sanders Jr.

"Keep an eye on Tennessee and Charlotte (NC) Providence Day School Top247 offensive lineman Leo Delaney," wrote Loy on Monday. "The Volunteers have always been in a good spot with the 6-6, 280-pounder, who is ranked as the No. 63 overall player in the 2026 class by 247Sports, but it's clear now that sources at Tennessee believe he's on commit watch in the coming months."

Loy noted that Delaney is friends with Sanders.

Clemson and Michigan are also in the mix for Delaney.

The highly coveted interior offensive lineman has official visits scheduled this spring/summer to Clemson, Michigan, and Tennessee.
