The Tennessee Vols executed a perfect troll on Saturday afternoon after beating Alabama 91-71 in Knoxville, marking a fitting end to a miserable week for Crimson Tide fans.
After taking down Alabama, the Vols, as has become the custom in Knoxville after beating the Crimson Tide in any sport, played Dixieland Delight in Thompson-Boling Arena while UT fans celebrated the win.
The win against Alabama comes after the Bama football program lost over 25 players, including stars like Caleb Downs and Kadyn Proctor, to the NCAA transfer portal in the wake of Nick Saban's retirement. Alabama's football program went from being a playoff contender to needing to hang a "help wanted" sign on the facilities in a matter of days.

Dixieland Delight is, of course, a song about Tennessee. But Alabama, for some bizarre reason, plays the song at home football games.
It never gets old hearing Tennessee troll Bama with Dixieland Delight. Hopefully, though, the Vols can make Dixieland Delight part of the normal gameday traditions in East Tennessee sometime in the near future (and not just when Tennessee beats Alabama) -- especially on Saturdays in Neyland Stadium.
It should be Tennessee, not Alabama, that plays the song during home football games.
