The Tennessee Vols are hoping to make a big impression on a recruit this weekend that has a legendary first name.
And look, I know the word "legendary" is a bit overused these days, but it applies here.
The Vols are hosting 2026 three-star athlete Legend Bey on a visit this weekend.
Bey, 5-foot-11/175 lbs from Forney, Tx., is rated by 247Sports as the No. 23 athlete in the nation and the No. 50 player in the state of Texas.
Texas A&M is also in the mix for Bey.
"The Aggies have been trending at the top in Bey's recruitment after getting him to campus on several occasions this spring," noted Rivals.com recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman. "The Volunteers will try and close that gap significantly during his time in Knoxville this weekend."
Bey will take an official visit to Texas A&M next weekend before making his final decision on June 28.
This feels like a recruiting battle that the Aggies will probably win, but the Vols are going to do what they can to convince the three-star recruit to choose Knoxville over College Station.
