DEC 16 - MEN'S TENNIS ANNOUNCES SPRING SCHEDULE - Texas Tech men's tennis coach Michael Breler announced the 2025 dual season schedule on Monday, and fans can see the Red Raiders play in Lubbock 11 times this year.
Five of those home appearances will be against Big 12 opponents.

DEC 10 - LADY RAIDERS TENNIS RELEASES SPRING SCHEDULE - The Texas Tech Lady Raiders tennis team announced its 2025 dual schedule via head coach Adam Herendeen on Monday.
Tech will host eight home matches with six against Big 12 opponents.
The Lady Raiders will begin the season in Ann Arbor, MI for the Michigan Invitational from Jan. 10-12 and fill finish with the Big 12 Tournament in Waco from April 16-19. The NCAA Tournament follows from May 2-18.
Home matches this season include Xavier, ACU, Kansas, Iowa State, Houston, UCF, Arizona State and Arizona, while road matches will be against Tennessee, Oregon, Portland State, Arizona, UC Santa Barbara, Princeton, Utah, BYU, TCU, Baylor, Colorado, West Virginia and Cincinnati.
NOV 15 - MEN'S GOLF WELCOME THREE NEW PLAYERS - Texas Tech men's golf coach Greg Sands announced on Wednesday the addition of three new Red Raiders to the program.
Adam Bresnu (Morocco), Simon Hovdal (Sweden) and Brady McHenry (USA, California) are all joining the program in conjunction with the 2024-25 National Signing period. Hovdal and McHenry will join as a freshman while Bresnu is classified as a junior.
OCT 19 - RED RAIDERS SWEPT BY CYCLONES - The Red Raiders volleyball team was swept by the Iowa State Cyclones on Friday at Hilton Coliseum.
Iowa State won straight sets of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-18 to snap a three-game losing streak to Tech. Aliya McDonald led all Red Raiders with eight kills on .538 hitting.
The Cyclones' Amiree Hendricks-Walker was too much for the Red Raiders as she posted 10 kills with no errors with .667 hitting as Iowa State hit .337 as a team.
Maddie Correa led Texas Tech with 12 digs and Hanna Borer totaled a team-best 14 assists, while Borer also reached the 2,000 assist mark for her career.
Next up for the Red Raiders is another road battle with Cincinnati and West Virginia.
OCT 17 - RED RAIDERS DROP MATCH TO. NO. 18 TCU - The Red Raiders were swept by the No. 18 TCU Horned Frogs on Wednesday with scores of 21-25, 20-25 and 13-25. Mia Wesley had 13 kills and 13 points in the loss.
The Red Raiders fall to 9-9 overall and 1-5 in Big 12 play while the Horned Frogs improve to 13-4 overall and 5-2 in league play.
Texas Tech outhit the Frogs in the first set with 15 kills and hit .303 to TCU's 14 kills and .286 hitting percentage, but the Frogs turned it up and hit .350 in the second set and .433 in the third.
Maddie Correa led all Tech defenders with 13 digs - her 13th match with 10-plus - and was perfect on serve receive at 11-for-11. Wesley had nine digs and Emily Contreras posted six.
Next, the Red Raiders travel to Ames, Iowa, to take on the Iowa State Cyclones on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
OCT 16 - RED RAIDERS READY FOR ITA TEXAS REGIONALS - The Texas Tech Red Raiders men's tennis team heads to Waco on Thursday to compete in the ITA Texas Regional Tournament hosted by the Baylor Bears. The tournament will take place from Thursday through Tuesday.
Eight Red Raiders are making the trip including Sebastian Abboud, Niksa Arsic, Lorenzo Esquici, Brody Nejedly-Krall, Felipe Pagnacco, Piotr Pawlak, Takeyasu Sekiguchi and Tyler Stewart.
Texas Tech is fresh off the Big 12/SEC Challenge where the Big 12 came out on top with 48 victories to the SEC's 42, and Red Raiders posted six of those wins. Two singles players from this weekend and one doubles team will qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships next month.
OCT 15 - RED RAIDERS SECURE DOUBLE TITLE - The Texas Tech Lady Raiders put on a dominating performance at the ITA Texas Regional tourney this week with 18 overall wins.
The pair of Mariia Hlahola and Avelina Sayfetdinova secured their second double title this season with a win over a ranked doubles pair from TCU. This qualifies them for the NCAA Double Championship in November.
It's the third consecutive season that the Lady Raiders have had a doubles team in the regional finals and the second straight year winning a doubles trophy at the regionals.
Next up for the Lady Raiders is the TCU Invitational in Fort Worth on Oct. 31 - Nov. 3.
OCT 13 - VOLLEYBALL FALLS - The Red Raiders volleyball team fell to No. 13 Arizona State on Saturday 22-25, 21-25 and 20-25 inside United Supermarkets Arena. Texas Tech fell to 9-8 overall and 1-4 in Big 12 play, while the Sun Devils improved to 16-2 overall and 5-1 in league play.
The Red Raiders played a close game to the No. 13 team in the county with 19 ties and six lead changes, but could not close things out in any set while Arizona State tallied 53 kills.
Brynn Williams led the way with nine kills, 10.5 points and seven digs, while Maddie Correa closed things out with a team-high 25 digs and three assists.
Mia Wesley and Emily Merrick combined for 14 kills and three blocks while Reagan Leinen and Aliyah McDonald totaled seven kills and three blocks.
OCT 4 - RED RAIDERS VOLLEYBALL WINS AGAIN - The Texas Tech Red Raiders volleyball team beat Kansas State in four sets, 25-18, 25-21 and 25-15 as the Wildcats won the fourth set 25-18. Mia Wesley scored her fifth double-double this season with 14 kills and 19 digs to lead her team.
Brynn Williams totaled 13 kills and three blocks to end the night with a team-high 15.5 points, while Katelyn Cochran and Hanna Borer combined for 35 assists. Borer led the way with 19. Cochran also had three kills and a block.
Aliyah McDonald and Reagan Leinen had 13 kills between the two of them in addition to six blocks and 20.5 points along with just one error on 32 attacks. Emily Merrick had six kills.
SEPT 23 - RED RAIDERS DROP MATCH TO ARKANSAS - The 8-4 Red Raiders fell to the 10-2 No. 25 Razorbacks 21-25, 25-18, 22-25 and 19-25 on Saturday at the Knight Sports Complex to finish out the 305 Challenge tournament.
Emily Merrick led all Red Raiders with a career-high 14 kills, hit .344 and had two blocks. Mia Wesley posted 11 kills and 10 digs - her third double-double of the year. Wesley also registered a season-high four aces.
Simone Overbeck had a career-best 10 kills with 10 digs for her first double-double of the season. Maddie Correa led the backcourt with 21 digs while Emily Contreras posted eight. Aliyah McDonald had a team-high four blocks, and Katelyn Cochranand Reagan Leinen had three blocks each.
SEPT 20 - RED RAIDERS LOSE TO MIAMI - The Texas Tech Red Raiders volleyball team strolled into the Knight Sports Complex on Friday off a straight sets win over FIU on Thursday, and were beaten 23-25, 23-25 and 17-25 by the Miami Hurricanes.
The Red Raiders now sit at 8-3 on the season and had seven players pick up at least one block in the matchup against the 8-2 Hurricanes. Sophomore Reagan Engler lead the team with five.
Katelyn Cochran and Aliyah McDonald posted three blocks each and Cochran added 11 assists to McDonald's four kills.
Junior Brynn Williams led Tech with six kills.
Next up, the Red Raiders finish the 305 Challenge tournament against No. 25 Arkansas at 11 a.m. CT.
SEPT 19 - McDONALD POSTS SEASON BEST KILLS - Graduate Aliyah McDonald and the Texas Tech Red Raiders volleyball team swept the FIU Panthers, 25-15, 25-23 and 25-19 on Thursday at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center in University Park, Florida.
McDonald posted a season-high eight kills in the match, going 8-for-18 for a .389 hitting clip while leading the Red Raiders with four blocks. Mia Wesley led all Tech players with nine kills with Brynn Williams and Emily Merrick totaling seven apiece. Merrick also contributed two blocks and a .467 clip on 15 swings.
The Red Raiders next face Miami on Friday at 5 p.m. CT in the Knight Sports Complex.
