The 8 Teams Are Ready For Omaha, Aiming To Capture 2025 College World Series Title

The final eight teams are headed to Omaha, Nebraska to play for a College World Series title. Several huge upsets in the regional and super regional have led us to this moment. Murray State is the “Cinderella Story” of the tournament as they clinched their first CWS birth in program history. No. 3 seed Arkansas is the favorite. The SEC, home of the last five national champions, had 11 of its 13 tournament teams eliminated.  

College World Series Matchups and Format in Omaha

Friday, June 13

2:00 ET- ESPN- No. 13 Coastal Carolina (53-11) vs. Arizona (44-19) 

7:00 ET- ESPN- No. 8 Oregon State (47-14-1) vs. Louisville (40-22)

Saturday, June 14

2:00 ET- ESPN- No. 15 UCLA (47-16) vs. Murray State (44-15)

7:00 ET- ESPN- No. 3 Arkansas (48-13) vs. No. 6 LSU (48-15) 

Sunday, June 15

The losing teams from Friday will play at 2:00 ET on ESPN. 

The winning teams from Friday will play at 7:00 ET on ESPN2. 

Monday, June 16

The losing teams from Saturday will play at 2:00 ET on ESPN. 

The winning teams from Saturday will play at 6:00 ET on ESPN.

The winners of the two brackets will play a best-of-three series for the national championship. 

Saturday, June 21- Game 1- 7:00 ET on ESPN

Sunday, June 22- Game 2- 2:30 ET on ABC

Monday, June 23- Game 3 (if necessary) – 7:30 ET on ESPN

Storylines
