Powerful new Supes are heading to The Boys season 4, as seen in this new poster.
It shows off two female heroes fully decked-out in their costumes. The first, on the right, is Firecracker. Played by Valorie Curry (Blair Witch), Firecracker possesses superhuman strength, durability, and hearing.
With her southern accent, she appears to be a parody of X-Men’s Jubilee, although there’s a twist: she wields a Glock 17 handgun.
To her left on the poster is Sister Sage, played by Susan Heyward (Orange is the New Black). She possesses similar powers to Firecracker, and is a former member of Teenage Kix, a group of teenage superheroes owned and managed by Vought International.
According to their Wiki entries, both Sister Sage and Firecracker were injected with Compound V shortly after their birth, when their parents accepted a generous offer from Vought. They subsequently transformed into Supes and gained superhuman abilities - plus a whole lot of baggage.
