The Milwaukee Bucks officially had their Ring Night and the team made sure to celebrate their championship. However, they did not let the fact that they got their rings distract them from the task at hand. The Bucks came out and did work on the Brooklyn Nets, blowing out Brooklyn 127-104 at the Fiserv Forum.

Giannis Antetokounmpo opened the season as his usual dominant self. He scored 32 points on 12-of-25 shooting from the field. He also knocked down a three-pointer (1-for-4 on the night) while grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists.

Giannis expressed that he is still extremely ecstatic that his team won a ring this past season. He realizes the process it’s going to take to do it again.

“We’re part of history,” Antetokounmpo said. “I’m excited. But now it’s over with. We’ve got to focus on building good habits, keep moving forward and keep playing good basketball and hopefully we can repeat this again this year, next year and all the years that we’re going to be here down the road.”
