The Fleet are Shipping Up To Boston, Again!

The Boston Fleet confirmed via a Season Ticket Holder renewal email on Friday that the Tsongas Center will remain their primary home for the 2025–26 season. However, four games will be played at Agganis Arena in Boston.

Despite losing both games at Agganis last year, both games drew sellout crowds. Many fans see this as a trial run toward eventually relocating the team full-time to Boston, with Agganis offering easier access via public transit and a more central location.

Still, not all reactions have been positive. The Fleet’s core fanbase appears to be in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, and they may face longer commutes and greater difficulty attending games.

Regardless of these viewpoints on each side, the energy and turnout at Agganis suggest that bringing games into the city could expand the team’s reach and visibility. With four games scheduled in 2025–26, the Fleet will have a real opportunity to test whether Boston is truly their future home.
