Through his four seasons with the Florida Gators (2006 to 2009), quarterback Tim Tebow established himself as one of the greatest players in college football history.

In that time, he won two national championships, won the Heisman Trophy once, earned first-team AP All-America honors once and brought home the Maxwell Award twice.

Despite leaving college football more than 15 years ago, Tebow's past excellence continues to earn prestigious honors.

Tebow Named All-Time AP All-American

On Thursday, which happened to be Tebow's 38th birthday, an article from the Associated Press revealed that 12 voters recently conducted a poll to create an all-time AP All-America team "to mark the 100th anniversary of the award that began in 1925."

There were certainly a lot of amazing options to choose from, but earning first-team honors was Tebow, with his 2007 performance being specifically singled out.

In that season, he was amazing, completing 234 of 350 passes for 3,286 yards, 32 touchdowns and six interceptions. His athleticism was on full display, also rushing for 895 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Tebow also earns the distinction of being the only former Florida Gators player to make the list, whether earning first-team or second-team honors.

Tebow Celebrated One Month with Newborn Daughter

It's been an eventful past few months for the college football legend, because on July 6, he and his wife, Demi-Leigh Tebow, announced the arrival of their daughter, Daphne Reign Tebow.

On Aug. 6, the couple took to Instagram to celebrate one month since her birth, saying, "One month of Daphne 31 days of hearing your little voice and learning what each sound means. 4 weeks of feeling your heartbeat in my arms, instead of waiting to hear it at the next appointment.

"A month of celebrating every ounce you gain and every smile you give," they continued. "I’m praying with you now, not just for you. Holding your little feet instead of feeling your little kicks. I constantly find myself in awe — I could watch and stare at you all day. One month of you and already, I can’t imagine life without you!"

Despite these new responsibilities, though, Tebow will be continuing his role with ESPN and the SEC Network. The former Florida quarterback is scheduled to be a part of SEC Nation's 2025 debut on Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. ET.
