Top-10 2026 Wide Receiver Drops Top Schools List

Two years ago, Kalen DeBoer and the Washington Huskies took the college football world by storm with an air-raid offense led by quarterback Michael Penix. Following that season, DeBoer's squad sent three wide receivers to the NFL with Rome Odunze, Ja'Lynn Polk, and Jalen McMillan all getting drafted in 2025.

Although Alabama's 2024 offense didn't light the world on fire, DeBoer and company are looking for a bounce-back season in 2025 with the return of offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. The Crimson Tide isn't just trying to improve on the field, but also in recruiting.

On Thursday night, four-star wide receiver Jalen Lott announced his top-10 schools list, with Alabama joining the group.

The Frisco, Texas native is ranked as the No. 67 player in the country and No. 10 wide receiver according to the On3 Industry Rankings. The six-foot 170-pound pass catcher has yet to take a visit to Tuscaloosa, but official visits are scheduled in the summer to Texas, Ohio State, LSU, Oregon, and USC.

During his sophomore season, Lott caught 29 passes for 513 yards and five receiving touchdowns. Texas is seen as the favorite with Lott's father a former Longhorn cornerback along with his mother playing on the basketball team.

In the 2025 recruiting rankings, Alabama is slotted in at No. 6 after a huge commitment from five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds a week ago. The Crimson Tide's other three pledges include four-star cornerback Zyan Gibson, four-star EDGE Jamarion Matthews, and four-star interior offensive lineman Chris Booker.
