The 2025 NCAA Division I men’s college soccer season got off to a wild start as several preseason Top 25 teams stumbled out of the gate.
Seven ranked teams lost on opening night, with five of those defeats coming at the hands of unranked opponents.
The Top 25 went 10–7–5 overall, with five draws — two of those between ranked teams.

You can watch most of the 2025 NCAA men’s soccer season on ESPN+, which is streaming over 1,090 matches across 17 conferences, regular season and conference championships.
Select high-profile games like ACC rivalry games and NCAA College Cup , will be on ESPNU and ACC Network, all on the WatchESPN app or via streaming services like YouTube TV, Fubo, and Sling TV that carry ESPN.
The NCAA live schedule also has links to official streams for all divisions and many schools have their home games on their athletic websites.
