Top WR recruit dominates national competition fresh off his visit with Georgia football
Sam Navarro-USA TODAY Sports

Georgia football has even more reasons to be excited about the top wide receiver recruit Talyn Taylor, who has been heavy on the Bulldogs' radar for the Class of 2025 recruiting cycle

Taylor recently put up a standout showing in the OT7 tournament, ranked the No. 9 performer in the 7-on-7 championship for Day 1 and No. 6 overall for Day 2.

The product of Geneva Community High School (Geneva, IL), is listed as the No. 3 prospect in the state of Illinois, the No. 10 wide receiver in the nation and the country's No. 71 overall prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite.

The pass-catcher holds multiple offers from a number of prestigious programs, and is considered to 247Sports to be most "warm" on Georgia, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Here's a look at some of his most recent highlights and where he stood in comparison to some of the best players in the country in the 7-on-7 tournament:

It will be interesting to see how the rest of his recruitment process shakes out, but many project that Georgia will ultimately land him as he comes off a good visit at Georgia just last weekend.

He'll bring a lot to the table for a Bulldogs team that so effectively and consistently reloads, bringing a high level of athleticism and all of the traits to be desired from wide receiver.

The 6-foot-1, 173 pounder has showcased a high level of versatility at Geneva Community, catching 32 passes for 512 yards and 6 touchdowns in 2023. He also threw for 150 yards and four TDs while also rushing for a touchdown.
