Travis Kelce Has Fiery Reaction to Nike’s Tribute to Deion Sanders

Nike is paying tribute to Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, and a certain NFL superstar couldn’t be more excited.

Deion Sanders, 57, renewed his notable partnership with the athletic wear company in 2024 alongside his son, Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Furthermore, Nike is collaborating with Deion Sanders and his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., to create his version of the Diamond Turf 92 signature shoes.

The kicks come in a sleek “Black” colorway that features white and red on the Nike logo and inside the shoe. The sneakers are designed to pay homage to Coach Prime by honoring his “unforgettable legacy,” according to an article from Sneaker Bar Detroit.

Following the collaborations announcement, Deion Sanders posted multiple photos on his Instagram account to promote the shoe’s upcoming release, which earned a reaction from Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“I told you ‘We were Coming,’” #coachprime @nike @nikefootball,” Sanders wrote in the caption, while Kelce commented, “.”

The Pro Bowl tight end's reaction came as he is a fellow Nike athlete who has been with the brand since 2013. Kelce has quickly become one of the athletic wear company's biggest stars as he has been seen wearing Nike jerseys and cleats on the gridiron.

Furthermore, he has a solid relationship with Coach Prime as they are two of the sport's more prominent personalities.

The Nike Air Diamond Turf 92 “Black” is expected to arrive in the fall and will be available for $155 through Nike.com and select retailers.
