Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed his dream life swap in a candid conversation with his brother, Jason Kelce.

During the latest episode of the "New Heights" podcast, Kelce answered a fan’s query about which podcast guest he would love to swap lives with for 48 hours.

Without missing a beat, he chose LeBron James, expressing his long-time fascination with the idea of playing in the NBA.

“My answer is LeBron James because I want to play in the NBA,” Kelce said. “I’ve always wanted to play in the NBA."

Kelce has never hidden his love for the game of basketball. Born and raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Kelce has long been a passionate Cleveland Cavaliers fan. His dream of playing in the NBA also dates back to his childhood.

"It was a dream I’ve had since I was a kid and I would love to know what that dream actually feels like," Kelce explained.

“To be able to jump as high as he can and slam the ball in the basketball hoop as hard as he can, I would also love to know what that feels like as well,” he continued.

Per The Athletic, Kelce even intended to play both football and basketball at the University of Cincinnati, although his football career ultimately took center stage.

In 2021, Kelce joked about his brief basketball stint with the Bearcats, saying, “I never saw the court. I practiced a few times and got in a few summer games."

Travis Kelce’s playful wish to swap lives with LeBron James is a reminder that even the most accomplished athletes have dreams that go beyond their own sport. For Kelce, stepping into James’ shoes, even for just 48 hours, would be the ultimate experience.
