It appears that Ohio lawmakers have too much free time on their hands. As was announced last night by The Rooster, one lawmaker has introduced legislation that would make it illegal for Ohio State to play noon football games.
Rep. @texfischer is out with a bill designed to curtail the Big Ten from scheduling Ohio State football games at noon.

The bill includes an exception that allows the Michigan game to kick off in its traditional noon slot.

This legislation seems to have a direct connection to the recent announcement that the season opening game between Ohio State and Texas would be played at noon. The state representative, Tex Fischer, was likely already simmering on this topic, but the recent announcement was his boiling point.
The legislation makes it illegal for Ohio State to play any home game prior to 3:30, so it is more than a noon issue. However, Rep. Fischer is ok with the traditional rivalry game against Michigan to still be played at is regular time, which happens to be noon.
Hopefully this tragic injustice can be remedied in record time, because the people of Ohio have suffered long enough. (*sarcasm)
