WWE Evolution 2 is officially in the books and the event was one of the company’s top shows of 2025 thus far. This was the first time since October 2018 that the all-women’s WWE Evolution show has taken place and people are clamoring for it to become a yearly occurrence. Triple H was asked about the potential of that happening and gave a verdict on that, so let’s take a deeper dive into what he said to the possibility of the show becoming a yearly event.
During the WWE Evolution post-show press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H was asked about the possibility of turning this event into an annual occurrence. However, he seemed to give a non-answer and said it will be more of a feel until the decision is made either way.
“I don’t wanna say, it’s yearly, it’s not yearly. I think we see what that demand is for it, because as the demand for the women grow everyday, it becomes less about having their own show, and more about, like that’s the equality, it’s all… there, and they don’t have to have their show to be in the spotlight. But if it works, we’ll definitely go down that road. So I think it’s a ‘we shall see.'”
This will be an interesting situation to monitor as the WWE women’s division did not rely on too many former wrestlers returning and was a seven-match card, something that WWE has not done with Triple H as the head of creative. It will be interesting as the women’s division has been booked relatively better with him in charge, and there are certainly arguments for both sides that make a lot of sense. Either way, WWE Evolution 2025 was a worthwhile show.
