UCF football struggled last season, finishing 4-8, but that did not stop the program from making a splash with its newly-released Nike Core uniforms.
The Knights’ white jerseys honor all-time great quarterback Dante Culpepper with a “drop shadow” highlighting his strong 1998 campaign where he ranked top 10 in Heisman voting.
Central Florida turned back the clock with the new uniforms, bringing back the bolded numbers from the 2016-2021 seasons. This included the program’s best finish in 2017 when the Knights completed the regular season with a perfect 13-0 record.

UCF honored its movement to the Big 12 Conference, representing the university’s Knighted font on the outskirts of the numbers.
Some other additions to the uniforms include the addition of numbers placed on the shoulders, which was featured from 2016-21.
Changes were also implemented in the black pants, with three Polaris stars placed to “represent UCF’s past present and future.“
The Knights also brought back certain aspects of a fan-favorite jersey from 2023, the Mission VII Space uniform with pegasus wings placed on the shoulders.
Heading into Scott Frost’s first season back with the Knights as head coach, UCF will look to finish above .500 after two straight losing seasons. In former head coach Guz Malzahn’s four-year tenure, the program won just one bowl game.
