Charles Radtke kicked off the main card of UFC Vegas 85 with a brutal first-round finish when he took on Gilbert Urbina.

A former CFFC welterweight champion, Radtke made his promotional debut at UFC 293 last year and won a unanimous decision over City Kickboxing’s Mike "Blood Diamond" Mathetha.

Radtke wasn't satisfied that his UFC debut went the distance, and when he had the opportunity to open the main card of UFC Vegas 85 opposite Urbina the 33-year-old starched the former The Ultimate Fighter contestant with a nasty left hook late in the first round.

The victory was certainly the most impressive one of Radtke’s career considering it came on the sport’s biggest stage, and the former CFFC titleholder is now on a six-fight win streak dating back to 2021 and has finished four of his opponents during that span.

Radtke’s victory came immediately after “Meatball” Molly McCann made her strawweight debut and submitted Diana Belbiţă in the final second of the card’s featured prelim, and earlier in the night Themba Gorimbo also stopped Pete Rodriguez with an incredible 32-second KO.

“Chuck Buffalo” made it clear in his post-fight interview that he intends to claim UFC gold, and after the performance against Urbina, fans will be eager to see if the 33-year-old can extend his perfect UFC record in his next outing.
