
Uganda takes on DR Congo today in the second leg of their international friendly series at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The match comes just three days after their first meeting, when Uganda secured a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from James Bogere and Kelvin Boateng.
The Cranes enter today’s fixture after a solid run in their AFCON qualifying campaign, having picked up a 1-1 draw against Tunisia and a 1-0 win over Libya.
Meanwhile, DR Congo head coach Sébastien Desabre opted to field an experimental lineup in the first friendly, and the defeat will put pressure on the Leopards to bounce back in today’s second fixture.
Despite losing the opening match, DR Congo remains one of Africa’s most dangerous sides. The Leopards also enjoyed an impressive run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reaching the Round of 32.
In their AFCON qualifying campaign, DR Congo have already secured wins over Equatorial Guinea and Zimbabwe.
