USA Cricket has officially opened registration for individuals interested in supporting the Women’s Domestic Pathway as coaches, team managers, volunteer coordinators, and event-day volunteers.

“We are committed to building a strong domestic pathway, and these roles will be instrumental in fostering talent and ensuring the continued growth of the game nationwide,” said Celeste DuToit, USA Cricket Women’s Coordinator.

This announcement follows the successful player registration process earlier this month, which saw over 530 players sign up for the 2025 season—a 59% increase from last year. The initiative also aims to strengthen the development of women’s cricket in the United States by expanding opportunities for leadership and participation.

Coaches: Applicants with a minimum Level 1 coaching certification are encouraged to apply to help nurture talent across the country.

Volunteer Team Coordinators: These individuals will act as liaisons between the USA Cricket Women’s Coordinator and team managers, assisting with organizational tasks.

Team Managers: Responsible for overseeing teams in the Intraregional competition, managers will work closely with coaches, coordinators, and players.

Event Volunteers: Cricket enthusiasts can contribute by assisting in various capacities at intraregional matches, national championships, and other key events.

USA Cricket is a governing body for the sport in the United States. Recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the body is committed to unifying and promoting cricket at all levels, from grassroots participation to international competition.

One of USA Cricket’s primary objectives is to create a robust domestic cricket ecosystem, catering to various formats, including hardball, tapeball, indoor, and softball cricket. The organization has been implementing regional and national championships to identify and nurture top talent. Through high-performance programs and national training camps, USA Cricket aims to develop players who can compete at the highest levels.

The resumption of the USA Cricket National Championships in 2021 was a significant step toward this goal, providing aspiring cricketers with opportunities to showcase their skills and progress toward national selection.

The organization oversees the country's men’s, women’s, and under-19 teams, selecting top performers from domestic competitions such as Minor League Cricket and zonal tournaments. The men’s team is gearing up for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tournament in Oman, while the women’s team is preparing for a five-match ODI series in Zimbabwe, a crucial step toward securing a place in the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings.

Beyond competitive cricket, USA Cricket is dedicated to grassroots development. Initiatives like the Rookie League introduce young players to the sport, while coaching and officiating programs aim to enhance game quality across the country. With a strategic focus on expansion and development, USA Cricket is positioning itself as a key player in the global cricket landscape.
