USA Cricket Names Squad for ICC Cricket World Cup League 2

USA Cricket has announced the squad and match schedule for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 (CWCL2) tri-nation series to be held in May 2025 at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.

The USA Men’s National Team enters the series on a high note, having topped the CWCL2 standings following their recent campaign in Oman. The team secured 11 wins out of 16 matches, including a historic 57-run victory over Oman where the USA defended a total of 122 runs, the lowest total ever successfully defended in a men’s ODI, accumulating 22 points.

The CWC is a vital component of our men’s national team plan as we work to qualify for the 2027 ODI World Cup. This series is a great chance to build on the team’s recent success, and for our fans to experience high-quality international cricket on home soil.”

This series will mark the USA team’s first non-World Cup appearance at the field since 2021, where they hosted a T20i Series against Ireland.
