Sophia Nguyen did not score once in the regular season but in the first round of the 2024 ACC Women's Soccer Championship, Nguyen blasted a shot from outside the box for her first goal of the season. The 77th-minute goal was the dagger against Notre Dame putting FSU up 2-0.
