Kobe Bryant had a lot of 50-point games in his career. In fact, he scored 50 or more points 25 times , which is third all-time behind Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain.

A user on X recently shared the video of Kobe’s first 50-point game, which occurred on December 6, 2000, in a game against the Golden State Warriors.

Kobe went off in this game. He shot 18-35 as he scored 51 points. Kobe also added eight assists. The problem was that Antawn Jamison of the Warriors also caught fire. Jamison dropped 51 points himself and led the Warriors to a 125-122 victory over the Lakers.

Despite the loss, this was the first glimpse into how incredible of a scorer Kobe would become. Oh, how great it was watching Kobe Bryant drop the ball in the bucket.
