North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech: The top-seeded Yellow Jackets thwarted the second-seeded Tar Heels' attempt to win back-to-back ACC titles with a 13-6 victory. It is Georgia Tech's first ACC championship since 2014 and tenth title overall. UNC's Owen Hull's RBI single in the top of the first inning was the opening run of the game. Ryan Zuckerman's home run in the bottom of the second inning tied up the ballgame. Drew Burress' two-run home run in the third inning gave Georgia Tech the lead and they would never give it up. The home run also made Burress Georgia Tech's all-time home run leader, surpassing Jason Varitek. Burress finished the game 3-4 with two RBI and 2 runs. Alex Hernandez had a big game, going 3-5 with two doubles, four RBI, and two runs scored. Vahn Lackey was 3-4 with an RBI and two runs. Owen Hull led North Carolina, finishing the game 2-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.
