Junior transfer Claire Jones scored her first goal as a Mustang in SMU's 3-0 win over Houston Christian. Sammy Nieves was leading a break for SMU when she sent a crosser over in front of the goal. The HCU goalkeeper got a hand on the ball, but it just resulted in a loose ball in front of the net that Jones was able to capitalize on. She blasted a rocket into the upper left corner for the goal.
