The Virginia defense is ranked middle of the pack in the ACC for scoring and yards per game, but the defense has made big plays in games to help get them to 5-1 in the first half of the season. Through the first six games, the Cavaliers have produced 16 sacks, 33 tackles for loss, five interceptions, two forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries.
