West Virginia basketball extended an offer to 2026 five-star guard Ikenna Alozie on Tuesday. Alozie posted the offer on his social media accounts.

“I’m blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University. Go Mountaineers!,” he wrote.

Alozie (6-foot-4) is ranked in the top 10 of the 2026 class by 247 Sports and On3. Alozie currently attends Dream City Christian and previously played at Patrick School in New Jersey. Alozie has received offers Akron, Arizona State, Bryant, Cincinnati, Creighton, Georgetown, Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John’s, UCLA, Villanova, Washington, West Virginia and others.

Alozie averaged 10.4 points per game as a freshman during the 2022-23 season.

West Virginia’s staff has offered plenty of recruits in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes over the past few weeks, including 2026 four-star guard Tay Kinney.
