A brand new documentary featuring the five-time Emmy-winning Will Ferrell is hitting Netflix this month as Ferrell is joined by fellow SNL alum, Emmy-winning Harper Steele, in this moving tale of two friends on a cross-country road trip as they explore a new chapter in their relationship.

The first trailer has landed for Will & Harper, directed by Barb and Star Go to Vista del Mar director Josh Greenbaum for the hopeful story, which has had people talking since it premiered at Sundance earlier this year.

Will & Harper currently sits at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes from 22 reviews, with Variety's Peter Debruge saying this is "what the world needs now" and Mashable's Kristy Puchko calling it "a resoundingly joyful and moving documentary, resplendent in its openness."

Lauren Wissot at indieWire also had high praise, saying the film features "moments both poignant and laugh-out-loud funny," which is evident in the first trailer, which offers up only two and a half minutes of the 114-minute runtime.

Will & Harper is set to land on Netflix on September 27 but will first head to theaters on September 13 for a limited run.
