Over 40 local NFL prospects worked out for the Bengals on Tuesday morning ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. A hefty chunk came from Cincinnati, which had 14 players representing the school, including star running back Corey Kiner.
The bruising back led Cincinnati in rushing each of the past two seasons, becoming the fifth Bearcat with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. He ran for 1,153 yards and four touchdowns on 204 carries last year.
Kiner didn't do any activity on Tuesday but was there to soak in all of the information.
"Willingness to learn," Kiner said to Mike Petraglia and other media members about what he wanted to show the Bengals on Tuesday. "I didn't work out today, but I came out and asked questions. I learned. I tried to cheer on the other guys that were working out."
The Cincinnati native would love to play with some of the names he's worked out with around town.
"I get to work out with some of the players at the gyms around the city," Kiner said "I see their work ethic and how they carry themselves off the field in the community because I'm from Cincinnati. I see them out in regular clothing, so to see how they demonstrate their leadership off the field, just is great for me, because I think of how to be professional."
Kiner is right on the edge of getting drafted next week, sitting at 286th overall on the consensus big board.
