The Wisconsin football staff is set to host a number of top 2027 recruits alongside a key 2026 Badgers commitment.

Tayshon Bardo, a three-star 2026 wide receiver, is back on campus in Madison this weekend for a key visit with the staff. Bardo had quickly become one of the top Wisconsin football commitments not just due to his skill on the field but also because of his recent recruiting prowess.

Bardo has become an effective recruiter for Wisconsin, bridging a gap between the staff and top recruits who have made their way to campus. The receiver has also allowed the Wisconsin staff to work closely with top recruits such as 2027 wide receiver Monshun Sales, who has visited Wisconsin alongside Bardo in the past.

Bardo previously committed to Wisconsin over Indiana, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, and a handful of other schools.

The momentum and assistance that Bardo has created off the field for the Wisconsin football program has been excellent thus far, and the recruit has the potential to make equally as special of things happen on the field.

What will Tayshon Bardo Offer the Wisconsin Football Offense on the Field?

On the field, the Wisconsin football staff believes Bardo can become a game-changer given his ability and willingness to consistently improve.

The best of what Bardo can accomplish on the field begins with his technical skills, which are certainly a highlight of what the 6-foot-1-inch receiver can do. Bardo creates space effectively without needing a burst of speed or a push in order to do so.

The receiver is also a masterful runner given his footwork which makes trying to throw Bardo off-balance incredibly difficult as a defender. Bardo might not be the biggest or most physically gifted receiver, but his technical growth throughout the collegiate recruiting process is a great representation of just how quick Bardo can transform his abilities moving forward.

With the combination of a willingness to learn and an ability to absorb information quickly, Bardo will be the perfect receiver for the Wisconsin football staff to mold.
