With the Wisconsin football staff putting finishing touches on the 2026 recruiting class, one name still stands at the top of the board.
Kamari Blair, a high three-star 2026 offensive tackle, stands tall at 6-foot-6-inches and roughly 280-pounds. Blair is a thick, physical lineman who has become an anchor along the offensive line throughout his development. The offensive tackle holds 29 scholarship offers but did not receive the bulk of his collegiate attention until March and April of 2025.
Blair was previously on campus with the Wisconsin football staff at the end of May for a pivotal official visit. The offensive tackle had nothing but great things to say about the experience, but the ones who truly loved the visit were the family members of Blair who attended. Following the visit, Blair traveled to South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Tennessee to round out a stacked official visit schedule.
With time running out for Blair, a commitment is almost certainly brewing, and the Wisconsin staff has been sprinting to ensure the offensive tackle lands in Madison.
For the Wisconsin football staff, Blair is still fair game and the recruit could be one of the final additions the Badgers make to the 2026 recruiting class.
Previously, Wisconsin took multiple scouting and recruiting trips to Tennessee and came away with interest from top talent. Djidjou Bah, Jamyan Theodore, and Blair were all quickly added to the Wisconsin board and thus far into the process the Badgers should consider the trip to Tennessee a success. Bah announced his commitment to the Badgers just weeks after receiving a scholarship offer while Theodore considered Wisconsin up until his commitment to Tennessee.
The Wisconsin football staff will have to battle against familiar faces Tennessee, Ole Miss, and South Carolina for a commitment from Blair. Nothing has been set in stone, but the recruit is expected to solidify a commitment before shifting gears towards the upcoming season. Wisconsin still has time to both make an impact with Blair while still searching for potential replacements should the tackle join a different program.
