Another 2026 recruiting target is off the board for the Wisconsin football team.
2026 cornerback Sean Johnson out of Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) announced his commitment to Florida State via social media. He will be heading to the ACC to play his college football rather than the Big Ten.
Johnson is a taller cornerback, standing 6-1 and weighs 175 pounds, according to 247Sports, which falls in line with the idea that the Badgers prefer taller, longer-bodied defensive backs.
The 3-star cornerback is the 44th-ranked cornerback and 513th-overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports composite ratings.
He chose the Seminoles over Wisconsin, Penn State, and Maryland.

Johnson has an official visit with the Wisconsin football team over the weekend of May 30th. If he still decides to visit the Badgers, Fickell and his staff will have the opportunity to try and flip the 3-star prospect to pair with Carsen Eloms, the 3-star cornerback who committed to the Badgers earlier this week.
Right now, the Badgers have four committed prospects in their 2026 class, including two this week. Defensive lineman Carmelow Reed committed on Monday followed by the previously mentioned Eloms.
