Wrexham is back in the Championship play-off race after beating Oxford United and Stoke City.
The club now sits in sixth place with 70 points, trailing Hull City only on goal difference.
These wins were a major relief for the team, coming right after tough back-to-back losses to Southampton and Birmingham.
With their confidence back, Wrexham is firmly in the hunt for a spot in the Premier League and Phil Parkinson claims that his side will keep fighting until the very last moment.
Wrexham’s pursuit of a Premier League spot has intensified as the club reclaimed its position in the Championship play-off race.
After securing vital victories against Oxford United and Stoke City, the side has moved into sixth place with 70 points, trailing Hull City only on goal difference.
These results serve as a significant turnaround for the squad, offering a sense of relief and renewed momentum following the frustration of consecutive defeats against Southampton and Birmingham.
The pressure of the promotion race has been building, but these latest performances have put the club firmly back in contention for a top-six finish.
After the win against Stoke, Manager Phil Parkinson emphasized the team's relentless mindset, stating and vowed to take the fight to the final stages. "The aim has been to take this to the wire and that's what we spoke to the lads about," he said.
Parkinson also challenged his players to maintain their standard of play, questioning how the squad will take the necessary accountability to keep their performance levels high enough to consistently win games at this level of football.
"But how are we going to achieve that and taking the accountability and where we get our performance levels where they need to be to win games of football at this level?"
Following the victory over Oxford, the 58-year-old manager then lauded his players' ability to adjust their approach based on the demands of the match.
"We showed two sides to our game. First half, we had really good control in the game; we were patient and took care of the ball.
“The moment came, and we had chances in the second half, but we knew Oxford would throw caution to the wind. They’re fighting for their lives. Long throws, set-pieces, and we defended as a team. Everyone did their job."
