The WVU football program is ready to unveil a major change that will start with the 2025 season. Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium will experience a facelift, providing a new visual during games.

On Monday, West Virginia posted a picture that showed a new turf and other minor changes to the field surface on the program’s social media accounts. This new turf will shows an update to the end zones and yard markers. The font and style will now resemble the new uniform look the Mountaineers revealed at the 2024 Gold-Blue Spring Game and started wearing this season.

Bold lines will accompany the end of each end zone.

This new look will make its official debut when West Virginia kicks off the 2025 season at home against FCS level Robert Morris.
