Believe it or not, the next Yellowstone spinoff is almost here. On May 15, 2026, Dutton Ranchwill debut with two episodes and create a new chapter for Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser). And now, with the biggest trailer yet, Dutton Ranch is revealing the basic plot of the entire show, and it's all about Beth and Rip facing off against another rival ranch owner in Texas, played by Annette Bening.

Unlike Marshals,Dutton Ranch seems like it will hew closer to the ethos of its parent show, Yellowstone. And that's because, like Yellowstone, this show will be all about contemporary wheelings and dealings to keep a ranch operating, while facing opposition from the outside and within. The basic premise of Dutton Ranch finds Beth and Rip leaving Montana, and starting anew in Texas, buying an old ranch and giving it their iconic family name. But, as the new trailer reveals, Beulah Jackson (Bening) and her family aren't going to make it easy for them.

As the new trailer reveals, a huge focus of Dutton Ranch will center on the clash between the Duttons and the rival family controlling a mega ranch right near where Beth and Rip have set up shop. Men's Journal has seen a bit of the new show, so we can confirm that things are just as tense in the actual series as this trailer conveys.

But, unlike the first trailer, this new trailer reveals one aspect of Dutton Ranch that fans might not have seen coming: The show will revisit some of the darker aspects of Beth and Rip, including just how far they are willing to go to protect their own interests. Beth and Rip might want to live a peaceful life, but we all know sitting around and being cozy doesn't always make for good TV!

In any case, fans won't have to wait too long for Dutton Ranch. The show hits Paramount+ in less than two weeks on Sunday, May 15.
