LAS VEGAS — Boxing’s next big chapter will be told on Paramount+. On Monday morning, Paramount officially announced a landmark partnership with Zuffa Boxing, the new promotional company spearheaded by UFC CEO Dana White, Saudi entertainment chief Turki Alalshikh, Sela managing director Dr. Rakan AlHarthy, and WWE president Nick Khan.
The long-term media rights deal ensures that Paramount+ will exclusively stream 12 Zuffa Boxing cards beginning in January 2026, with the potential for select events to air on CBS and other Paramount-owned platforms. CBS, America’s most-watched broadcast network, could provide boxing with the kind of mainstream exposure it hasn’t enjoyed in decades.

The deal follows last month’s blockbuster seven-year, $7.7 billion agreement that will see UFC events move to Paramount and CBS in 2026. By adding Zuffa Boxing to the package, Paramount is positioning itself as a global hub for combat sports content.
“This partnership with Paramount reinforces our vision to redefine the way viewers consume boxing,” Alalshikh said. “More fight fans will now have access to watch some of the most exciting boxers around. This is the future for live boxing coverage and will ensure the sport continues to thrive.”
Zuffa Boxing officially entered the sport earlier this month in dramatic fashion, promoting the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford super middleweight title fight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. That event broke ground in more ways than one:
A sellout crowd of more than 70,000 packed the venue.
The fight drew 41 million viewers worldwide on Netflix, making it one of the most-watched boxing events of the century.
Crawford stunned Alvarez by unanimous decision to become the undisputed 168-pound champion.
The Zuffa Boxing–Paramount+ partnership will provide a global stage for prospects, contenders, and future champions, giving rising names exposure to an expansive audience. Dana White emphasized the impact of bringing both UFC and boxing under one streaming umbrella.
“I’m excited to bring great boxing events to a global audience,” White said. “There are millions of boxing fans that will now be able to watch competitive fights with up-and-coming boxers as well as the biggest stars in the sport. Paramount will be the home for UFC and boxing fans to watch the greatest fights in combat sports.”
The announcement also marks a return to boxing for Paramount after a brief hiatus. Its subsidiary, Showtime, televised the sport for nearly 40 years before exiting in 2023 amid corporate restructuring. Now, Paramount is back with a bigger, more modern play designed for streaming-first audiences.
“Paramount has long been a leader in sports and sports storytelling,” said Cindy Holland, Paramount’s chair of direct-to-consumer. “By combining TKO and Zuffa Boxing’s world-class production and promotional capabilities with our subscribers’ passion for sports, we are confident we will deliver something truly special to boxing fans throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America for years to come.”
Details on Zuffa Boxing’s first Paramount+ show in 2026 will be announced at a later date, but expectations are high. With the UFC already secured, boxing’s most ambitious new promotional effort in decades now has the backing of one of the world’s largest entertainment companies.
For fans, this means a steady pipeline of high-level fights delivered directly to their screens and a new era where UFC and boxing coexist under one powerful media roof.
