2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic odds: Rickie Fowler 45-1 to defend in Detroit

It's time to jump into the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic odds as Detroit Golf Club hosts this week's PGA Tour event.

Rickie Fowler look to defend his Rocket Mortgage Classic title after his victory here in Detroit, Michigan last year and is priced at 45-1 to win this week.

Tom Kim battled with Scottie Scheffler this past weekend at the Travelers Championship but came up short on the first playoff hole at TPC River Highlands. The 22-year-old remains in the field for the Rocket Mortgage Classic as of Monday morning and is the betting favorite at 15-1.

2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic Odds

Tom Kim enters as the outright betting favorite following his second-place finish at TPC River Highlands in the final signature event of the 2024 PGA Tour season. This was Kim's second top-five finish in his last four starts after finishing in a tie for fourth at the RBC Canadian Open in early June.

This will be Kim's third start at the Rocket Mortgage Classic after missing the cut here last year and finishing in seventh in 2022.

Like Kim, Cameron Young also showed out this weekend at the Travelers Championship and is the second and final golfer with odds of 20-1 or shorter this week with +1700 odds to capture his first PGA Tour title. The Wake Forest product made history by shooting a third-round 59 at TPC River Highlands on Saturday and went on to tie for ninth.

This was the 27-year-old's first top-30 finish in seven starts since the Masters as his game may be trending in the right direction. Young will be making his second appearance at Detroit Golf Club this week after finishing in a tie for second in 2022 when Tony Finau ran away from the field and won by five strokes.
