Is it okay for golfers to wear the LIV Golf logo at the Masters?

Like any prestigious golf club, Augusta National Golf Club has a strict dress code in place for players and spectators alike.

While attention has always been placed on what the world's best golfers wear when they compete — Rickie Fowler's florescent Puma ensembles never disappointed in the past — there is a slightly different spotlight this year thanks to the incorporation of LIV Golf players and the breakaway league's use of its logo on players' attire.

LIV Golf is very much into branding and players in the Saudi Arabia-funded breakaway league wear outfits splashed with the circuit's Roman numerals, which lead many to wonder if Augusta National would ban LIV players from wearing league-centric attire.

It was reported that the 18 LIV Golfers attending this week's Master would not wear any LIV brand clothing "out of respect for the tournament."

However, LIV-ites such as Dustin Johnson and Cam Smith were still seen during practice rounds on Monday rocking the logos of their LIV Golf teams — not the league specifically — on their polos.

This year's Masters marks the first time players from both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf will compete in the same event since players defected to Greg Norman's rival circuit last summer.

There has been a sense of tension surrounding every aspect of the Masters leading up to this week, so perhaps it's no surprise that everyone's polos are now also grabbing attention.

We'll have to wait and see if LIV Golfers will wear their team logo-d gear when the Masters tees off on Thursday.
