Bubba Watson is participating at LIV Golf Indianapolis this week – the final event of the league’s season.
Watson has experienced a tough season on LIV Golf in 2026, with just one top 10 finish to his name.
However, he has a great chance to actually win on Sunday in Indianapolis, as he heads into the final round just two strokes adrift of the leader, Michael La Sasso.
Bubba Watson was one of the biggest names to jump ship from the PGA Tour in order to join LIV Golf back in 2022.
And despite his failure to win a LIV Golf event, he remains one of the most popular players due to his thrilling and unorthodox playing style.
However, Watson is certainly no shrinking violet, and he took it upon himself to confront a fan who was yelling as Lee Westwood was just about to hit a shot.
Watson is never afraid of offering his opinions, and he is seemingly unafraid of controversy either.
While playing alongside Westwood at The Club at Chatham Hills on Saturday, Watson became embroiled in a confrontation with a fan.
The fan yelled in the Englishman’s direction during his pre-shot routine, and the two-time Masters champion took matters into his own hands.

Fair play to Watson.
The behavior of a small minority of golf fans has deteriorated badly over the past couple of years.
If there are fans misbehaving out on the golf course, it’s only right that they get called out.
Bubba Watson did exactly that during LIV Golf Indianapolis and if more players did that, it might just help stamp out some of the unruly fan behavior that is beginning to plague the professional game.
