Bryson DeChambeau Shares What Made His Augusta Round With Kevin Hart So Unique

Bryson DeChambeau put on a spectacle at the Augusta National as he showed up with the noted American comedian-actor, Kevin Hart, as his caddie. At the end of play, DeChambeau also disclosed how the day was a special one for him.

This year’s Masters Par 3 Contest also had other celebrity attendees, as Jason Kelce caddied for Akshay Bhatia. But Hart’s appearance with De Chambeau was a one-of-a-kind surprise for fans. His interview post-game revealed that Hart calls him a “rockstar.”

DeChambeau reciprocated Hart’s respect, saying, “The best in the world. He just pumps me up. I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know why he calls me a rock star. He’s the superstar.” He also disclosed how he received several pieces of advice from Hart, which made the day special.

DeChambeau disclosed, “A lot of wind advice out there. He was reading the greens a little bit. It was fun to get out there and have him experience what golf at this highest level is.”

Hart has been into golf for the last seven months. The Masters Par 3 Contest was an opportunity for him to witness golf at its finest and DeChambeau made sure he did.

DeChambeau also revealed a tip he gave Hart, stating, “I just told him to close his eyes on the ninth hole and hit his swing as hard as he could.”

Hart also made sure to immerse himself in the experience fully, forgetting what he usually does.

Fans loved Hart’s energetic presence on the Augusta National Golf Course. Before the contest, Hart was interviewed, and it became clear that his goal was to help DeChambeau as much as he could.

Hart explicitly stated his goal to be “the best caddie that’s ever caddied.”

He also clarified that he has graced the event just as De Chambeau’s caddie. “I am not Kevin Hart the global superstar today,” said the comedian-actor. “Please get that out of your mental. Not the movie star, the standup comedian that everybody knows around the world. Throw it in the bag. Today, I am Bryson’s caddie.”

Hart tried his hand at No.9. “I was built for this!” he exclaimed before taking the shot. However, the ball landed in the water and the fans loved that even more.
