Scottie Scheffler had one of the most accomplishing years in the history of golf in 2024.
The 28-year-old secured nine worldwide wins, which included a Masters, THE PLAYERS Championship, an Olympic gold and ultimately the FedEx Cup.
Fellow PGA Tour competitor Bubba Watson told Golf.com that he is ranking Scheffler's year as the greatest in the history of the sport, citing that it was done during a time in which professional golf is as competitive as it's ever been.
This of course includes Tiger Woods career in contrast, which is unanimously agreed upon as the most illustrious ever.

Woods won nine events in 2000, which included three majors. He then became the first player in history to hold all four major titles at the same time when he added the Masters to his shelf in 2001.
Aside from Woods, the only players to have won two major tournaments in the same year are Pádraig Harrington (2008), Rory McIlroy (2014), Jordan Spieth (2015) and Brooks Koepka (2017 and 2018).
With the Masters approaching on April 10, Scheffler is the odds favorite to win the green jacket and became the first player since Woods to do so in back-to-back years.
“I try to stay as present as possible,” Scheffler said amid his 2024 success. “I think that was something I really learned from my college coach. At times, early in my college career, I would get distracted. I wouldn't be as focused as I needed to be. I was always putting in the time, but I don't think I was as focused as I needed to be at times practicing.
"I’d be distracted by whether it was school or social life or whatever it was. I'd be thinking about other things while I was doing what I needed to be focused on. And so, he was the one who kind of introduced me to the idea of compartmentalizing your life. And I look at that in terms of just being present where I am.”
