Tiger Woods continues to make headlines in the world of sports collectibles.
On Thursday, Upper Deck announced the extension of its exclusive partnership with the golfing legend, keeping the company as the sole producer of Woods' trading cards and autographed memorabilia.
Upper Deck did not disclose details of the deal, including its length and value.
For his part, Upper Deck president Jason Masherah expressed his excitement about the extension of their partnership, noting that they have been "fortunate" to work with Woods and help "create connections with fans and celebrate moments throughout his historic journey with our collectibles."
"Tiger Woods fans across the globe have collected the authentic and innovative products we've created together," Masherah added. "We look forward to continuing our relationship and building products dedicated to Tiger’s historic legacy."
Upper Deck and Tiger Woods have been working together since 2000, with the company signing the golf star to a $15 million deal at the time, according to Will Stern of cllct.
"I've been proud to be a partner of Upper Deck for so many years and looking forward to the future together," Woods said of his new agreement.
It remains to be seen what's next for Upper Deck and Woods, but with their latest deal, the two should have plenty of time to come up with exciting cards and memorabilia that celebrate the career of the winningest PGA Tour golfer of all time.
